- Working Principle

- Startup & Liquid Filling: A specific volume of liquid is filled into the pump casing. This liquid is essential for generating centrifugal force and creating vacuum.
- Impeller Rotation: The eccentrically mounted impeller begins rotating, causing the liquid between the impeller blades to be flung toward the inner wall of the casing, forming a rotating liquid ring.
- Formation of Liquid Ring: The liquid ring creates a series of sealed cavities between the impeller blades and the casing.
- Gas Suction: As the impeller rotates, the volume of the cavities near the inlet increases, creating a vacuum and drawing gas into the pump.
- Compression: Continued rotation compresses the gas as the cavity volume decreases.
- Discharge: Once compressed, the gas is expelled through the discharge port. This continuous process maintains the vacuum during operation.
